With 14 different sound programs that provide multiple variations, every movie and every piece of music will sound right in your home theater. Discrete power transistors, rather than chips, are used in the amplifier section to provide the cleanest sound possible. The amp delivers 105 watts each to seven channels, and the HTR-5850 can accommodate DVD, CD, MC/CDR, and digital TV/cable. Three optical digital outputs assure the finest possible signal leaving the receiver for your other components. A set of front panel A/V inputs allows for simple temporary connection. The receiver also features an AM/FM digital tuner with 40 station presets.
