JobSite A45-X2 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier Reviews
JobSite A45-X2 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier Feature
- 2-channel stereo amplifier designed for multi-room distributed audio systems
- Each channel (45 watts x 2) includes an individual gain control for precise signal matching
- Low-impedance stability (2.66 ohms) for powering two pairs of speakers at once
- Multiple turn-on modes for maximum system flexibility; gold-plated 5-way binding posts
- 10 Hz to 100 kHz frequency response; measures 17 x 2.31 x 13.12 inches (W x H x D); 2-year warranty
Another nice feature is the A45-X2's multiple turn-on modes: constant mode synchs the amp with the front-panel master power switch, as with a traditional component. Turn on the master switch and the amp turns on. Audio sense mode, conversely, responds to the audio signal in the left and right inputs. When the amp doesn't detect an audio signal, it simply turns itself off. If it detects a signal, the amp turns on by itself. The third mode responds to the 3- to 30-volt AC/DC trigger input. The amplifier only turns on when it detects AC or DC voltage at the input along with a line-level audio signal. The voltage trigger can be supplied by connecting a 12-volt AC wall adapter to the switched outlet of your stereo receiver.
Additional features include cascading outputs, gold-plated five-way binding posts for all the speaker outputs, and gold-plated RCA jacks for a purer signal transfer. The amp, which offers a 10 Hz to 100 kHz frequency response and consumes 200 watts of power, measures 17 by 2.31 by 13.12 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a two-year warranty on parts and labor.
